Lia, natural fibre art doll ready to play
Friday morning is my preferred moment of the week. This is when I spent most of the day in the atelier and I usually get completely lost in the creative work.
Lia was watching me with her curious brown eyes as I started to design a pattern for a new dress. I showed her some of my favourite crafting tools and books and proposed a “guided tour” in the atelier.
Lia played with ribbons, buttons and made herself a scarf from a piece of lace. She was also interested in fabrics and she asked if I could make her a coat. Well, I guess this can be done my dear little girl, I said, come and choose what you would like best. She smiled and it felt good to know that I could make someone happy with the work of my hands.
